Nominating Committee Volunteers Needed

EAG is looking to fill several leadership positions for the coming year. Before nominations can begin, we need to form a Nominating Committee. (Please note: Members serving on the Nominating Committee are not eligible to run for any elected position during this election cycle.) If you are interested in serving on the Nominating Committee or would like to be considered for one of the open positions, please contact the Joe Abboreno at president@elmhurstartistsguild.org.

OPEN POSITIONS

Secretary
• Attends Board meetings and records meeting minutes.
• Files minutes for approval at the following meeting.
• Maintains official records of approved minutes.

Treasurer
• Serves as custodian of all Guild funds.
• Deposits funds into accounts designated by the Board.
• Maintains accurate records of all receipts and disbursements.
• Pays out funds only as dire.cted by the Board.
• Requires the President's countersignature on checks exceeding $500.
• Ensures that no funds are withdrawn from the Guild treasury without the required signatures of both officers.
• Provides financial reports to the Board as requested.
• Presents a full financial report to the Guild at the September meeting.

President-Elect
• Assists the President as needed.
• Assumes the duties of President upon completion of the President's term.
• Will serve as Elmhurst Art Museum Delegate - the delegate is to promote, in support of the Guild president, the interests of the Guild within the Museum, attend EAM board meetings and act as communication liaison between the museum and Guild board and membership.
