As we gear up to the next season of shows and programs for the guild, we need volunteers to help in some key areas. Please review the following volunteering opportunities.
Remember, volunteers do not have to be a guild member. This is a great opportunity to get folks from the outside community to participate and bring additional skills into our organization.
While the museum is closed for three weeks at the end of the month and into September, volunteers are needed to cover the front desk while the museum staff is busy setting up the new shows. There are eight days where your help is appreciated. You would sit at the front desk and greet visitors as they enter the building and direct them to the guild gallery. Museum staff will be available to help you and handle gift shop or art sales. This is a great opportunity to meet the patrons who visit the EAG & EAM.
Basset Licensed Volunteers
To comply with state law and museum policy, we are required to have Basset licensed bartenders to serve wine and alcohol to the general public during any gallery receptions. The Gallery Operations Committee is looking for anyone who is licensed or willing to get licensed to be part a cadre of about six people who will be available. Acquiring the license is easy and we can provide more information on how to get it.
Looking for someone to help the Board President and Treasurer organize and inventory the permanent art collection along with keeping the gallery store room organized and stocked with supplies during the year.

Content Manager / Copywriter
The Communications Committee needs someone who will assist in writing the press releases, publicity, and internal communications for the guild along with organizing the material between all the folks working on the publicity.
